I took a class on African embroidery in April, so this was a great chance to use what I learned there. I loved the bright colors against black, seems to be one of my favorite colored combos.
We are a group of 20 women, from Australia, Canada, Ireland, United Kingdom, and United States who are interested in challenging our quilting and art skills. We have banded together to challenge ourselves every two months with a different theme or pallet.
What a pretty butterfly, Tammy! I really like the look of the stitches you used, especially the chain outline. The black background is perfect and love all the colored dots in your border fabric.
