Favourite Places
What a fun challenge. I had such a difficult time trying to decide just what are my favourite places. Finally decided that it must be beside the ocean or water. I tried to make my challenge look like a scrap booking page. I printed a few of the places we have visited in the past 12 months, The Great Ocean Road, Port Fairy and the Sorrento Back Beach. As much as I love to visit these places I have no desire to live in a coastal area. I love living here in the country and wouldn't change it. Sorry for the delay in posting, I had to search for the camera.

I love your idea of a scrapbooking page. I guess by the water is a nice place to visit but not to live - at least for you.
ReplyDeleteSue,
ReplyDeleteThis is such a smart idea. Scrapbooking never really held my interest, but this!
I love the pictures...and always, the ocean.

Sue love your piece and the ocean mmm I could live near it,

Cheryl, scrap booking has never held my interest either. I'm too busy playing with fabric to worry about sorting photos.
ReplyDeleteI've never done scrap booking either but it is so neat to browse through the books that others have done. I love your fabric scrap book page, very well done.
ReplyDeleteSue I love the collage look of your piece, very pretty. I have lived in both country and by the ocean and there is good and bad on each but I live in the country now and love it.
ReplyDeleteHere's a twist: I live within shouting distance of Disney World but it has nothing to do with my real life. So I like living here but wouldn't want to visit! ;o)
ReplyDeleteI like your scrapbook collage, Sue. Beautifully done!
I really like this idea, your page is great! I love the ocean and the water, hope to move there real soon! I love the way you put the words in there too.
ReplyDeleteSue - I posted a comment yesterday but somehow it ended up in
ReplyDeletecyber space! I think your idea for this Challenge is an interesting one and I think you did a great job with it. I like the way you did this and once again you have managed to do a wonderful job with your Challenge, Shirley
